Digicel Infrastructure Installations
2019 - 2021
Kelectric successfully completed a multi-island telecommunications infrastructure project for Digicel, encompassing St. Vincent, Grenada, and Montserrat. The scope of work included the construction and installation of beach manholes, cable landing station bases, and street cabinet bases. Additional works involved the construction and installation of pull boxes, generator bases, trenching, fencing, rodding, roping, and the deployment of Fibre for the FH network. The project also included the supply and installation of ducting, specifically 2 units of 4-inch Schedule 40 PVC, ensuring robust and future-proof infrastructure for Digicel’s network expansion.
Digicel Tower Bases
2017 - 2018
Kelectric Company Limited was selected as the contractor for the construction of multiple cellular tower sites across St. Vincent, Grenada, Trinidad, Suriname, and Guyana. The project involved the construction of tower bases, providing critical support infrastructure for the telecommunications networks of Digicel, and later AT&T Wireless. The works were executed to international standards, ensuring structural integrity, reliability, and readiness for advanced network operations across the Caribbean and South American regions.
